Communication System Monitoring (CSM) is one of the key components of any modern wireless communication infrastructure. In satelite communications, CSM allows operators to monitor and to track data signals of a dedicated transponder. CSM helps measuring carrier HF parameters which are used to derive quality of service statistics of certain SATCOM links. The novel INRADIOS signal sensing engine helps identifying Adjacent Satellite Interference as feedback report for frequency coordination purposes.
INRADIOS CSM is easily customizable to any special customer needs. It provides a modern graphical user interface and can be accessed via encrypted TCP/IP. CSM comes along with advanced reporting and statistic functions.

CSM topology:


CSM server:

The INRADIOS CSM Server is the main software component which manages the multiuser access to multiple spectrum analyzer devices. CSM Servers provides network device drivers for various remote spectrum analyzers. Measurement results are captured by CSM Server, processed and forwarded to the CSM Desktop instances.

CSM Server centrally controls multi-user access to single spectrum analyzer devices and manages data access over band-limited or high latency internet connections such as satellite connections. CSM allows remote administration and manages more than a dozent parallel measurement sessions on a standard PC hardware.


CSM desktop:

The INRADIOS CSM Desktop is the graphical user interface software to access spectrum and signal measurements provided by the CSM Server. The CSM Desktop provides a rich set of advanced graphical visualization functions to quickly access spectrum and signal measurements. It is also able to process multiple measurements in parallel. This enables simultaneous signal monitoring at one single work station. Various signal storage and replay functions are available which in addition use an encrypted data base format. The CSM Desktop software automatically detects low-bandwidth internet connections and adapts the server access accordingly. All graphically user elements are independent from the vendor of the used remote spectrum analyzer.


CSM stand alone:

The CSM standalone variant is designed for use on a single computer and combines the functions of the CSM server and the CSM desktop in a single program. This solution is ideal for applications in which only a single license is required. So you can renounce to the multi-user and administration functionality. You can further connect multiple devices on a network, but only one user can work with the software.
